UnstampaBelles Challenge #21 - Quilling

Challenge #21 for UnstampaBelles is up and running and this month we are to utilise Quilling.

is our sponsor this month.

Please remember .............
Any form of paper creation will be accepted as long as NO STAMPS (Digital or Rubber) have been used.  Due to graphic technology any entry with a graphic image will be subject to the Design Teams' discretion and we will contact you if we feel the entry does not meet the ethos of our challenge blog.
For further information, see our rules here.

The Quilling challenge closes Friday, 29th March 2013 and Winners will be announced Monday, 1st April 2013 - Remember we are working on Aussie Time.

I confess to being a bit hard pushed this month to find time to create a new card using quilling.  I have been busy settling into studying at TAFE and trying to get back into some form of routine around the home.  You don't realise just what an impact of having 2 1/2 days away from the home has on your routine - oh how quickly I got used to being at home all the time ;-).

Anyway ;-)  here are some quilled cards that I have made in the past
Oval aperture cut out of cardstock, edged with gold stickers - sentiment stickers placed in the middle.  Various different quilled flowers and swirls placed around the aperture.

Another oval aperture card, this time in portrait mode - Iris quilled flower.
Gold stickers used for sentiment and border.

I have every intention of finding time and making up a new quilled creation ready for the halfway inspiration post - stay tuned!  ;-)

Please visit the UnstampaBelles blog and see last month's entries and check out the winner.
Looks like the Doily challenge was a real challenge, but there were some beautiful entries submitted, again very difficult for the DT to pick a favourite!

Thank you for visiting my blog today - I hope you have a good day.
Remember, any day doing something you love makes it a good day ;-)

Doing what you like is freedom. Liking what you do is happiness.

  2. Oh Cathy, I can so relate to that loss of time. Three days working a week now and I don't have time for my blogging. :-0 I think these quilled creations are beautiful...I really like the iris.
