In the hope of inspiring you to try something different, here are a few more examples of the bonus technique for the month - dry embossing.
Double embossing with the cuttlebug
hand embossing on vellum using a freebie embossing board that came with a craft magazine
attaching vellum to cardstock using brads eliminates the need for double sided tape that shows through ;-)
Wow....half way already...great reminder Cathy. :-) I really like all this embossing. Especially the double embossing. I must give that a go as I don't use my thin embossing folders.
